5 Inspiring Styles, Fabrics and Textures for May
Last week I got my hands on an older number of Burdastyle, the one from July 2011 and wow, this was such an inspiring edition. I got so many ideas from flipping this magazine.
1. Drapey pants with knit waist
I love these pants. They look comfy enough to wear as lounge pants and so easy to make. And I like the jersey high waist idea.
I am not sure of the fit, but I intend making a lounge pair (aka muslin :) and see how I feel about them. The floral ones are made of knit fabric and the pink ones of crepe de chine.

2. Mixing jersey and crepe
The same idea as the pants above: mixing precious fabrics like silk crepe with the common jersey knit. It looks quite cool.

3. Transparent butterflies
I would have never thought I’d like a transparent button down shirt with applied organza butterflies, but I think this one is so cute!

4.Delicate borders
This blouse is very feminine and dreamy without being too princess like. I love the shoulder bow.

5. Polymer clay macaroons
What a fun idea: making polymer clay macaroons in your favourite flavour and colour. I could make a macaroon keychain :>

What about you? Anything that inspired you lately? Share, share :>

I love the delicate blouse! Isn’t it wonderful when you go back to something you already browsed and feel inspired all over again?

It is :) I wish I knew how to use that as an “inspiration button” :>
