A Sheer Blouse Like a Summer’s Breeze

I made this last year and maybe wore it once. There was something wrong with it and I didn’t know what, but I kept it. A winter has passed and the other day I had the revelation.

It was too long and the elastic I’ve inserted in the hem didn’t do this blouse any justice.

Chop chop and a few minutes later – a nice blouse.

The pattern is so simple – it used to be a Burda pattern in its beginnings (it’s actually the same pattern as this floral blouse; minus the elastic trimmings) and then I slowly changed it with time. I think I made one of my fist jersey tshirts using this pattern.

What about you? Do you also need to wait o long time to “see” what’s wrong with something you made or can you tell right away?
