This quick recipe tells you how to quickly roast pumpkin seeds in a pan, without using frying oil.
The other day I made pumpkin pie. I forgot to take photos, sorry but I’ll post the recipe as soon as I make it again. It was delicious.
Anyway, the thing I got excited about was using the pumpkin seeds that came with the pumpkin 🙂
I remembered my cousin used to dry them in the sun and then we’d eat them like that or roasted in the oven. These pumpkin seeds were a lot smaller though and I had the pie in the oven so I couldn’t use it.
So what I did was wash them in a sieve and clean the orange pulp, then mix them with salt (lots of salt), and then put them wet in a frying pan without any oil.
You keep stirring all the time, the water will dry. Taste one from time to time until you’re happy with the taste. You can eat them as they are or in a salad. Tasty!
