Large World Map Clutches with Denim and Faux Leather

A few weeks ago, after finishing a batch of the medium sized world map totes I sell on Etsy I decided to try something new. I had these denim that I saved from a pair of jeans I cropped and some faux leather scraps that had been occupying space in my scrap fabric box for ever.

I used a few more scraps for the lining and fat plastic zipper and voila! Travel clutches.

I kept the denim clutch for myself and gave the red one to my friend Delia (hello :)

I like these because they only occupy the space they need. You only have a few items inside? Fold it. Do you need to stuff it with more thing – you have one big zippered pouch handy.

I normally use smaller zippers for clutches or pouches, but these fat plastic zippers not only look good on the clutch, but they make it sturdier, which is always a + in my book.
