Just realise that, even though it;s winter i do not wear other long sleeves than hoodies. Which is a shame:) So I started thinking about my next long sleeve top. This are some interesting ones i found on Flickr: lirola clothing                                 lulus                                 flyingpig125                                 ahgi08

What would you say If I told you to go back to girly style. I don’t mean pretty pink and puffy bows, I mean 10 year olds fashion. They have style don’t they? 😀 And they know a thing or two about turtles, not like your everyday… adults. Take a look at these examples to understand what I mean: Selfexplicit: bag shaped as a turtle. Just look at the details and tell me you woundn’t wear it if it came in your size!:)

Call me a sucker for words, but this girl is groovie. “JUSTINE I’m a 20-year old second-year fashion design student. You have stumbled upon my fashion blog. Congratulations.” This is the description in her blog (do take a look) and she makes fantastic things. Beside the delicious personal fashion talk, what i like best about her creations is the simplicity of the design.  This is what I’m talking about:

I got this amazing book from my friend Dana (thank you, thank you:>) and it’s full of great ideas. Before, I thought stamping was something for kindergarden midgets, but some of the techniques found here, in the book lead to amazing results. Not to mention a lot of fun. And I am defenately carving my own rubber stamp soon! Now the process of stamping with plastic wrap is extremely simple: just take a bigbig piece to start with and model it, just like you would do with clay or dough. The book suggests strings and knots but I am more…

This is fantastic! After some time of wearing minibags I started wondering how would things be if there would be no visible bag, nothing to make you uneasy while dancing or while travelling. This obi has two pockets: one of them is on the inside (fits a passport, wallet, minimap, mobile, keys etc.), the other one on the outside. It’s very sturdy and comfty. Best fits waists from 60 to 80 (size xs and x)  What do you think?

Sometimes when I buy fabric i get so enthusiastic that I buy more than I need. Then I have to many gorgeus things of the same fabric. One idea is to try and change the hue. On Today’s menu: a tutorial on how to change the colour of your fabric with coffee. Its really as simple as 1, 2, 3. Watch: 1. First you make a pot of coffee, strong enought to kill a horse.                       2. Then you put it while hot in a pot or a big bowl…

Just found out about this DaWanda shop for artisans who make handmade things and I thought I’d give it a try.  Looks nice, the search engine is better than Etsy’s and the listings are free. (Thought they take a 5% fee when selling an item.  So you can now shop me here too:)

Normally every Sunday I take my notebook and make a master list of the things that I have to do next week. I put everything in it and then every day I add from the list to the daily to do list. It works.  But this week, maybe because of the holidays and all I got totally carried away. I am late with some things I have to send in two days and I cannot properly relax.  This is another getorganized tip: make a streamline of the way you spend your time for a few weeks and see where you’re…
