September, September You Know I Remember
It’s almost September again.

As a kid, I loved September. I was already kind of bored or playing all day and was looking forward to the first day of school. I loved the smell of new textbooks and notebooks, arranging the new crayons next to the old crayons, inspecting the schoolbag to see if it was time for a new one, cleaning my room and organizing my desk.

There’s another reason why the 1st of September is important to me. It’s Sky Turtle’s birthday :)
I started posting on this blog four years ago. I had just moved to a new city and a new country and I wanted to share my new sewing adventures with my friends back home.

Fast forward a few years later and here I am still sewing, thinking about sewing, talking about sewing and trying to learn more and more. I’ve met (some only virtually) a lot of amazing people who sew since then, people who’ve inspired me or taught me new things.
I have started to write more sewing tutorials, started a free sewing course for everyone who wants to learn more about sewing (or maybe just to see how I do it) and I am now focusing on learning pattern making and running the Etsy shop.
Thank you for reading this and for commenting on my blog, it really makes one do the happy dance periodically, when no one is (and sometimes even when they are) watching.
