5 Sewing and Sewing Inspiration Blogs I Love

This year I’ve decided not to be such a Grinch and share the love so I what a better way than share some of the blogs I love the most right now. They are not in a particular order, but they are blogs related to sewing, pattern making of garments and style in general. Hope you like my list and would love to know yours, so drop me a comment.

Coletterie

You might have guessed I was a fan of Sarai Mitnick’s Coletterie since my last sewing from your own fabric post. It has a great design and good photography, the posts are interesting and useful. Always an inspiration to sew more things and dare to sew things I don’t know how to sew.

Grainline

Jen lives in Chicago and works as a professional patternmaker. She sews, the experiments, she knits. I love her blog because she is modest, generous and a great knitter (something I don’t think I will ever have enough patience for).

WishWishWish

At first I added Carrie’s blog to my reader because I thought she was a maker and after a while it was impossible to remove her from my reader. She’s funny, beautiful and has great style.I love the color and the magic of her blog. I like it when she poses for a new photographer as you can see how her expression changes and when she talks about brunch food.

K i t t e n

Cristina is a designer living in Portugal with her family. She designs and paints the cutest and most courageous t-shirts, and recently she bought a sewing machine, which is great, because she not only some of the nicest but also one of the most talented and resourceful makers I’ve met. Wish she lived closer, this peninsula is too big for the two of us!

Kittenhood

Daria is a self-proclaimed future crazy cat lady, which gives the expression a whole new aura, since Daria is a stylish blogger who’s not afraid to mix, match, make  and experiment with both wearing clothes and making the cutest accessories for them.
