An Asian style silky tunic/blouse

Since I was trying to convince you the other day that sewing your clothes is not only worth the trouble but super fun too, here’s a blouse I made last summer: an asian style silky cotton tunic-blouse with bat wings and ruffled sleeves.

If I told you how easy this was to sew and that I didn’t even use a pattern, would you raise an eyebrow in disbelief?

I used elastic for the sleeves and piping for the top edge. It closes with a tiny transparent button and it can be worn with or without the fabric bow-belt.
