Happy Blogday to me and some presents for you

Two years today I decided to start a blog on sewing, cooking and generally having fun making things. There are so many lovely, talented, kind people out there who create and help others create, so I wanted a place where I can give back to those people who helped me be a better seamstress.

This is why I try to post as many how to’s and tutorials as I can, share my mistakes and successes and also why I do the dance of joy every time you comment and tell me what you think about my ramblings.

So thank you.

And because there’s no fun in a birthday without presents, here’s the giveaway i promised a few days ago.

It’s a planning world domination bag in black and white origami cotton fabric. It’s lined in cotton and has two inner zipper pockets. And it’s ready to be yours, if you want it πŸ™‚

So, in case you do, leave a comment telling me what would you like me to write about in the future and what kind of things you’d like to learn. I’ll be subjective this time and choose the best comment. (I will choose the winner next Tuesday!)

Psst! there’s one more surprise to come. Stay tooned :>

Thank you A for modelling :>

Well, in the future I would love to read more about sewing (machine) tips and transforming/renewing/recycling clothes and stuff.
I will be so inspired to create pillows or toys, incense bags, bracelets or even a wedding dress from those toodeartothrowawaybutsooldandsmallthaticantwearthem clothes.

    1. Heey! Thanks for the comment and for the blog love. That’s a wonderful present: )
And thanks for the ideas, I shall try to comply πŸ™‚

  3. Hi!
Congrats for your second BlogDay! ItΒ΄s surely an event to celebrate!
Since your blog deals with sewing and cooking, what about sewing *for* cooking? I mean aprons, gloves for catching pans, etc. It might initially sound as a boring subject, but giving it a second thought and with a bit of imagination, it could surely become more fun!

    What do you think?

    1. Hey, that’s a brilliant idea. It’s not boring at all, it sounds like a lot of fun.
Thanks for the suggestion, will definitely try it:)
