New Blue Leaves Bag

The sewing machine is back from the mechanic and healthy as can be. (The guy is a magician. After the first trial seams I started thinking I should bake this man a cake. After lots of thinking I concluded that the cake might be awkward and just dropped by to say they did a great work. )

Soo… after that I sewed like a madwoman and in two hours this new blue leaves bag was born. The fabric is IKEA, the pattern is mine. The handle is adjustable (you just tie it to the metal rings and make it as long or as short as you want).

It is – as usual – fully lined in white and baby blue polka-dot cotton recycled from a bed-sheet and it has two pockets: a zippered one and a non zippered one.

It’s big, sturdy and easy to wash and iron. And it’s going to travel continents to get to the person she was made for. I hope she likes it 🙂
