Maybe you remember my scarfy situation the other day when irritated by the flying fibers coming out of my knitted scarf I decided to start a research and find the cozyest, softest scarf solution ever. (Ana, I put the scarf photo, check out the post!)
My first step in this journey is fleece. I don’t know how the fox idea hit me and I googled it to see if anyone else thought about it. Surprise, surprise they did π
One of the cutest and simplest models I saw was a scarf by Uk designer Donna Wilson. Sweet. But knitted. (No, no!)
And way to expensive for how easy it is to do it in fleece. Β And a bit too small for my taste.
So I made my own. It’s made of red and white fleece, with hand embroidered sleepy eyes and nose, 162 cm long and around 16 cm wide. And it’s incredibly warm and cozy. And easy to wash. And a gift! π
Hope he enjoys and hope you do. (I can put up the pattern I made if you think you need it, but it’s pretty straightforward, I think).
Have a warm day.
oh my, I’m so in love with it! especially that it’s so long and cozy. I’ve been considering trying to do one myself, but all I did was a dress with a sewn fox π not as cool π
Dress with sewn fox? Totally cool! Show me picturz!
It’s easy to make, really, and it’s super super cozy, I promise:)
http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm14/airrad_photo/Photo190.jpg there it is! I wanted the bottom part to be more wavy, this one is too straight. I should try again π
I love it just the way it is.
Maybe if you use a soft wide belt instead of the skinny one it will drape softer on your hips?
I’ll try, thanks! π
soooooo coool! π
Glad you like, D!
A A + +
