Threadless t-shirt embroidery hack

I am looking for ways to mix techniques and media and today I felt like experimenting with embroidery and print. At first I wanted to embroider more of the design of this threadless t-shirt so the hack would be more obvious but I was surprised to see that embroidering only the outside of the design with floss of the same color as the tee gives it a 3d effect.

This is a very simple project that you can do in 15 minutes if you design is simple and it’s not your first time embroidering.
