How to sew a pair of short pants with pockets

Sewing pockets into short pants might look complicated to do and even more complicated to understand if you read the instructions. It’s always easier for me to do something if I see the whole process. Remember my perfect summer shorts I blogged about the other day? Well, I decided I should try a pockets version.

It’s really easy. So here we go.

(Unfortunately I don’t have a digitalised version of this pattern yet, but you can make your own pattern by tracing a pair of shorts that fit you well. And anyway, the idea is to see how to sew two kind of pockets into pants or skirts – back pockets and front pockets.)
